Terms and Conditions of Membership
General Terms for Pilates Complete Club Membership and Membership
1. General Provisions
These general terms apply to agreements between Pilates Complete Göteborg AB (hereinafter referred to as "Pilates Complete") and the Member (the individual to whom this agreement pertains). Members are entitled to train according to these terms, which apply indefinitely. Pilates Complete reserves the right to amend these terms, with any changes communicated to the Member per section 12 at least 30 days before such changes take effect. In addition to these general terms, specific terms may apply to certain services or offers.
2. Club Membership
A valid Pilates Complete Club Membership is obtained upon payment upon first entry into the club, at the current price. The minimum age to sign a Club Membership and group training card is 16 years. For those under 18, a parent or guardian must sign the agreement on their behalf. Paid Club Membership fees are non-refundable. The membership period is ongoing until the Member terminates the agreement. Termination of Club Membership by the Member is made in writing via e-mail and must be completed at least 7 days before the group training card’s expiration. If the termination does not take place within this time frame, the Club membership is renewed for a new membership period in accordance with the registered membership.

2. Club Membership
A valid Pilates Complete Club Membership is obtained upon payment upon first entry into the club, at the current price. The minimum age to sign a Club Membership and group training card is 16 years. For those under 18, a parent or guardian must sign the agreement on their behalf. Paid Club Membership fees are non-refundable. The membership period is ongoing until the Member terminates the agreement. Termination of Club Membership by the Member is made in writing via e-mail and must be completed at least 7 days before the group training card’s expiration. If the termination does not take place within this time frame, the Club membership is renewed for a new membership period in accordance with the registered membership.
Group Training Membership: Group Training Monthly Subscription Group Training Monthly Subscription runs automatically until terminated by the Member, with cancellation required at least 7 days before the new period starts. If termination has not been made, the membership is renewed for an additional one (1) month.
12-Month Group Training: 12-Month Group Training runs automatically until terminated by the Member, with cancellation required at least 7 days before the new period starts. If termination has not been made, the membership is renewed for an additional 12 months.
Annual Group Training: Annual Group Training runs automatically until terminated by the Member, with cancellation required at least 7 days before the new period starts. If termination has not been made, the membership is renewed for an additional one (1) year. The Annual Group Training plans cannot be terminated early. Members must pay for the full period.
Membership Transition Fee for 12-Month Membership:
The Member can transition from a 12-month binding membership to a non-binding Monthly subscription by paying a Membership Transition Fee. The fee reflects the monthly cost difference between the binding membership and the non-binding membership and will be applied for every month the Member trained under the binding membership. The total fee must be paid at the time of the transition request.
- Special Memberships:
- Prenatal and Senior Group Training: Valid for six (6) months, including Club Membership, and which expire upon completion of the 6 months. It does not require cancellation.
- Student Group Training: Ongoing with no binding period.
- Clip Cards: Valid for one (1) year from the purchase date.
Group training memberships are personal and can only be lent to another person for one (1) month, once per year, and for a continuous period of at least one (1) month. Such lending must be arranged in prior by the Member in writing via e-mail and include the borrower's contact details and lending period. For periods longer than one (1) month, a registration of a club membership for 950 SEK is required by the borrower. For those under 18, a parent or guardian must sign the agreement on their behalf. Group training allows participation in all regular classes offered by Pilates Complete, subject to availability.
4. Personal Training Membership
Personal Training is offered as clip cards, valid for one (1) year from the payment date unless otherwise specified. Unused clips expire thereafter and cannot be used. Personal Training sessions can be transferred to another member. Such transfer must be arranged in prior by the Member in writing via e-mail and include the recipient´s contact details, start date, and the number of sessions transferred. A registration of a club membership for 950 SEK is required by the recipient.
5. Payment Terms
Membership payments are made via card. The price that applies when signing up for the Club membership applies for the entire binding period. Price changes take effect only after the current binding period. If a payment responsibility is not fulfilled, it transfers to the Member. Price increases require at least 30 days' written notice and exclude changes due to VAT or other government fees. Paid fees are non-refundable.
Invoices are available upon request for private group bookings, annual memberships, and private training cards.
6. Late Payments
If the Member fails to pay membership fees, Pilates Complete may suspend the membership until payment is made. Late payments incur interest, reminder fees, and administrative charges. The matter may be referred to a collection agency. Unpaid fees for the remaining contract term may be invoiced in full.
7. Cancellation Rules
Group training classes must be canceled at least 2 hours before the scheduled class. Late cancellations for matwork classes result in a note on the Member’s account. After three notifications an automatic charge of 250 SEK is withdrawn. Late cancellation or no-show for Reformer classes will result in a direct charge of 325 SEK.
Failure to pay results in suspension from booking classes. Access is restored upon payment.
Personal Training must be canceled at least 24 hours before the session, or the full amount is charged.
8. Code of Conduct
Members must adhere to Pilates Complete’s rules and staff instructions regarding training methods and training equipment. The Member must act in a way that does not disturb other members, guests or staff. The Member must be on time for their booked training session. Late arrivals of 5 minutes or more may result in denial of entry. Members are responsible for their guests’ following rules and instructions. Only Pilates Complete staff may instruct and train Members within Pilates Complete premises. The Member may only stay in Pilates Complete's premises in connection with training or events. The Member may not use Pilates Complete's premises for private training or use Pilates Complete's equipment and machines
on their own. Members may only use the premises during training or events and must leave the premises before closing time. Commercial activities are prohibited unless authorized by Pilates Complete.
Personal belongings should be stored in lockers. Pilates Complete is not obliged to retain Member's personal belongings left or forgotten on Pilates Complete's premises. If the owner does not collect such belongings within 14 days, Pilates Complete may, at its discretion, dispose of or, in the case of valuable items, hand them over to the police.
Violations of the terms and conditions may result in suspension or immediate termination of membership. In such cases, no refund will be issued for any remaining membership period.
9. Changes to Operations
Pilates Complete reserves the right to modify operating hours, schedules, and facilities, which may limit offerings. The facility may close for up to four weeks annually for maintenance or renovations.
10. Freezing Memberships
Memberships can be frozen for up to three (3) months, with a minimum of one (1) month, due to injury, illness, pregnancy, or temporary relocation. The period for freezing amounts to a maximum of three (3) months and a minimum of one (1) month. In the case of freezing, the membership is extended for a time corresponding to the freezing period. Freezing must be done in writing via e-mail in advance. Extended time that is not used in direct connection with the expiration of the group training agreement is not replaced or refunded. The validity period for clip cards for group training and personal training is one (1) year from the date of payment. Unused training opportunities are not refunded. The clip card for personal training can be frozen according to the same conditions that apply to the group training cards.
11. Liability and Disclaimer
All training is at the Member’s own risk. Pilates Complete is not responsible for personal injury caused to the Member due to accidents or as a result of the actions or lack of actions of other Members or guests. Each Member and their guest are responsible for ensuring that their health condition is such that the person can participate without risk in the activities offered at Pilates Complete. Pilates Complete has the right, after consultation with the Member, to cancel the membership if the training results in a deterioration of the Member's health. Pilates Complete is not responsible for losses due to theft, burglary or for any other reason or for damage to Member's or guest's belongings.
12. Notifications
Members receive notices of changes to terms, pricing, and other updates via the e-mail address that the Member has registered with Pilates Complete. Members must update their contact details and bank account numbers with Pilates Complete. Members also receive newsletters, specific member offers, benefits and discounts linked to club membership. Pilates Complete communicates member benefits, offers and information via e-mail, SMS, push notifications, via website and social channels. If the Member does not want to receive newsletters from Pilates Complete, the Member has the right to unsubscribe.
13. Media Use
When participating in training sessions or events, Pilates Complete may take photographs or make video recordings. Such photographs and videos may be used in social media and reproduced on the website, news and information mailings and in other marketing. By participating in training and events, the Member gives their consent to Pilates Complete being allowed to use photo and video material for the purposes mentioned above. If the Member does not want to be photographed or filmed, this must be communicated in writing to Pilates Complete before participation.
14. Privacy Policy and personal data (GDPR)
The Member's personal data is managed solely by Pilates Complete and in cases where it is necessary for Pilates Complete to be able to offer Member its services with companies that are so-called personal data assistants. A personal data assistant is a company that processes personal data on behalf of Pilates Complete and according to Pilates Complete's instructions. Pilates Complete has written agreements with all personal data assistants through which they guarantee the security of the personal data processed and undertake to comply with Pilates Complete's security requirements. In addition to the personal data the Member himself provides to Pilates Complete, Pilates Complete may also collect personal data from so-called third party. For example, Pilates Complete may collect data from social media. Pilates Complete has personal data assistants who help with invoicing and payment solutions as well as booking systems.
Member information is processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Upon request, the Member has the right to information about which data is processed by Pilates Complete. The Member may request correction of incorrect information, as well as request that information about the Member be deleted if the information is not necessary to fulfill agreements or other statutory obligations. 15. Force Majeure
Pilates Complete is not liable for interruptions in training opportunities due to uncontrollable circumstances such as such as water damage, fire damage or other damage to the training facility, strike, lockout, natural disasters or government actions.
16. Termination
Pilates Complete has the right, without giving reasons, to immediately terminate the Member's agreement early for any reason other than the Member's violation of the agreement or the general conditions. For non-contractual terminations, unused prepaid fees will be refunded proportionally.
